The Taganka Hotel & Hostel is located in central Moscow. It is the first purposely built project in Russia that combines hotel style accommodation alongside backpackers-dormitories (hostel rooms). These are located in a separate two storey building that was finished in November of 2010. The building is located in a 24hour security area with video surveillance cameras and security guards working all around the clock.
The Taganka area, in which the Hotel & Hostel is located, is close to the Kremlin, Red Square and St. Basil's cathedral (about 1-3 metro stops or 5 minute drive). The area also has quite a few famous historical sites of its own for example the Novospasky monastery, the first monastery founded in Moscow in the 14th century.
Taganka H&H is conveniently located 350 meters from Proletarskaya and Krestyanskaya Zastava metro stations and 800 meters from Taganskaya and Marxistskaya metro stations. The Taganka H&H sits at a crossroads which allows you a fast and easy access to any part of Moscow via the Garden ring, Tretie Koltso, Volgogradsky Prospect and Ryazansky Prospect.
Taganka H&H seeks to provide great value for money accommodation and a range of attractive living options. We offer our guests 12 Private Rooms and 49 Beds in our dormitories (which accommodate anywhere from 3 to 10 people), as well as a cozy cafe where you can interact with other travelers and share gems of wisdom about the secret treasures of the city.
Our Private Rooms all have Digital TV, IP-Telephone, A/C, and private bathrooms.
The hostel area has a kitchen, free Wi-Fi, internet access points and a cafe-common room area with Digital TVs. Our building is equipped with a central ventilation system and is designed to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable. During the warmer months of the year an open terrace is open for BBQs and picnics.
